If you have Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 installed, then you need to let Windows Update to install the proper driver as per this from AMD Support: Driver Support for AMD Radeon™ HD 4000, HD 3000, HD 2000 and older Seriesĭriver Support for AMD Radeon™ HD 4000, HD 3000, HD 2000 and older SeriesĪTI Radeon™ HD 4000/ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4000, ATI Radeon™ HD 3000/ ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3000, and ATI Radeon™ HD 2000/ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 2000 Series Graphics reached peak performance optimization in October, 2013. >< 2006 seems an awfully long time for a driver to go un-updated anyway, I've only had this laptop since the christmas of 2008.HD Mobile 3xxxx gpu are not supported by AMD anymore. Did I install the wrong one, and if so, I have no idea where to find the update the Playfirst support is talking about. Although I still get the error message above. After restart the driver reinstalled itself fine, with a successful message, and read itself as 3450 driver. After I had done that, I remembered I needed to restart, which I proceeded to do. I think I was worrying about it too much, so I didn't restart right after, instead I tried to install the 3450 driver again. I was rather upset, so I took the chance and uninstalled my display driver. After restart it kept coming with an error. The CCC took over the installation after I downloaded using the Dell driver download thing, and told me the installation wasn't successful. So I went to the Dell website and downloaded the 3450 update, although I didn't know if that applied to the 3400 or not. x_x I ended up installing the CCC (Control Catalyst Center) with it, and after restarting it didn't work. I ended up 'trying' one called radeon 3400, I think, but I wasn't sure. o_o They have Mobility, and radeon hd, etc but I couldn't find the series card I had. With this said, I did try the ATI website first, (bad me, bad) and had the hardest time finding my card. Let us know what you prefer and we will accommodate you.

Or you may wish to request an exchange for a PlayFirst developed game:

If you are unable to obtain a driver that resolves this please let us know and we’ll issue you a refund if your purchase has been within 30 days of this e-mail. Check with the manufacturer of the card or the vendor where you purchased your computer and see if they have any current drivers available for your card (your video card driver is dated from Date and Size: 00:28:10).

It appears as though your video card may need a more current driver. After reading up on the forums, I sent a DxDiag to Playfirst to which they replied, I would get a mesage reading, 'application not working' and it would tell me my trial had expired before I had even played it. So I was having problems playing select Playfirst games.
